Real Madrid are reportedly lining up an audacious move for Manchester City superstar Raheem Sterling
Long-standing admirers of the English forward, Los Blancos are looking to accelerate their interest at the end of the season and use the out-of-favor Gareth Bale as a makeweight in the deal.
As reported by Sky Sports, the 11-time European champions are ready to offer £70m plus the Welshman to convince City to renounce on their headline performer.
According to the same source, the La Liga heavyweights will send scouts to observe the 24-year-old from close range when England take on Montenegro and Kosovo in Euro 2020 qualifying next month.
Under Pep Guardiola’s tutelage, Sterling has established himself as one of the world’s best and most prolific forwards, catching the attention of Florentino Perez.

The Real chairman failed in his attempts to offload Bale in the summer, with no Premier League side showing interest in snapping up his services.
He now wants to insert the 30-year-old in a deal to bring the former Liverpool winger to the Santiago Bernabeu and take his whopping salary off the books.
Such a proposal is, however, unlikely to tempt the reigning Premier League holders, who are heavily relying on the pacey Englishman to lead them to the Champions League glory.
After a string of impressive performances over the past couple of seasons, Sterling was rewarded with an improved contract last November that ties him down to the Etihad until 2023.
