Real Madrid are reportedly weighing up a sensational swap-deal involving Isco Alarcon and the in-demand Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz
Known for his court vision, pinpoint passing, and tactical versatility, the 23-year-old has gained a reputation as a perfect modern-day central midfielder.
Ruiz’s impressive displays under Carlo Ancelotti have not gone unnoticed, with Barcelona and Manchester City both credited with an interest in his services.
However, according to the Spanish outlet, Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid have leapfrogged their arch-nemesis and Pep Guardiola’s side in the race for the Spaniard’s signature.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has slapped a massive €120m price tag on his jewel and has been holding out for that sum ever since the emergence of Europe’s big guns’ interest.
While Barcelona and City both deemed his requests exorbitant, Florentino Perez has come up with a perfect plan to see off the competition.
Los Blancos‘ chairman intends to use an out-of-sorts midfielder, Isco Alarcon, as a makeweight in a deal to bring the highly-rated Gli Azzurri man to the Bernabeu.
Instead of offering a like-for-like swap deal, Perez intends to improve his bid by adding a €20m compensation fee, to soften his stubborn counterpart De Laurentiis.
