Bayern Munich have reportedly taken an interest in the Borussia Dortmund star winger Jadon Sancho, which puts Manchester United’s pursuit of the Englishman in jeopardy
According to the Daily Star, Bayern Munich have enquired about the availability of Sancho, who has been nothing short of outstanding since swapping Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund.
It is not the first time that the Bavarians look to weaken their fierce Bundesliga rivals since they already brought in the likes of Mario Gotze, Mats Hummels, and Robert Lewandowski from the Signal Iduna Park over the past decade.
Now, they have set their sights on another Dortmund jewel, who has a staggering £100million price tag slapped on his head.
The perennial German champions are also monitoring Manchester City’s Leroy Sane, as they look to capitalize on their long-standing interest in the 24-year-old this summer.
In case Bayern manage to convince the Premier League side to give the go-ahead, they are likely to drop their pursuit of the Englishman.

News about Bayern’s interest in Sancho comes as a blow to Manchester United’s hopes of landing the 20-year-old winger.
Indeed, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified the prodigious forward as his number one transfer target to reinforce his attacking line in the summer transfer window.
In addition to United, Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Chelsea are also harboring an interest in Sancho, who is expected to leave Lucien Favre’s side in the upcoming transfer window.
The England international has been a menace to the opposition defenses over the past two and a half years, picking up 31 goals and 43 assists in 92 appearances for Dortmund during that stretch.
