In spite of the uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge, under-pressure Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has already started making plans for the next transfer window
The Italian tactician seems to have fallen in love with Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella, whom he has labeled as his top priority for the summer transfer session.
According to the British publication Metro, Sarri is pressuring the Blues’ leadership to make concrete steps towards completing the move.

The former Napoli boss sees the 22-year-old talent as a natural replacement for Cesc Fabregas, who joined AS Monaco in January.
Speaking of Barella’s future at the club, the Rossoblu’s president Tommaso Giulini has said: “Barella was never close to a January exit.”
“I cannot deny that there was concrete interest from Napoli in January.

The Italy international has emerged as one of the hottest young prospects in Europe and has also been named as the Sardinians’ vice-captain.
With N’Golo Kante underperforming for the majority of the campaign and Ross Barkley’s continuous ups and downs, Sarri will probably step up his interest in the Italian prodigy should he endure a tumultuous first season in the Premier League.
