Serge Gnabry has put pen to paper on a new deal with Bayern Munich that will keep him in the club until 2023
The Germany international spent last season on loan at TSG Hoffenheim to gather experience before returning to the Allianz Arena in the summer.
Although he was expected to be a backup option for Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, and Kingsley Coman, the 23-year-old has taken full advantage of the injuries the aforementioned trio has been struggling with to break into the starting lineup.

Gnabry has established himself as a regular starter under Niko Kovac this season having scored eight goals and provided six assists in 29 top-flight outings.
The Bavarians sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has expressed his delight with Gnabry’s contract extension, labeling him as the one for the future.
“Serge is one of our young, wild ones and an important part of the future FC Bayern,” he said. “We are convinced that we will have a lot of fun in the future with him.”
Known for his lightning pace and tricky dribbling, the former Arsenal man can cover both wings equally well and should be the one to replace aging Franck Ribery in the future.
