Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani could depart PSG on Bosman transfer next summer

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly destined to lose two of the club legends on a Bosman transfer at the end of the season

Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani have both entered the final year of their respective contracts at PSG and seem to be drawing their impressive careers at PSG to a close.

The current captain, who arrived from AC Milan in 2012 as part of the package to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Parc des Princes, has not been offered a new deal and will likely leave next summer.

A natural-born leader as he is, the 35-year-old has become one of the club symbols during his seven-year spell in Paris, gobbling over 190 top-flight appearances for Paris Saint-Germain.

On the other hand, PSG’s all-time leading goalscorer still hopes to prolong his stay in the French capital, although the club is yet to approach him with such a proposal.

Continous injury problems that have been troubling the 32-year-old striker this season won’t help his cause as well as the arrival of Mauro Icardi from Inter Milan.

Although the Argentinean joined PSG on a season-long loan, there’s no doubt that he will work his socks off to secure a permanent deal in Paris after a nasty breakup with the Nerazzurri.

Cavani will have no shortage of suitors should the Parisians opt to show him the door, with Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Napoli all credited with an interest in the Uruguayan hitman, according to Daily Mail.

Reigning Ligue 1 champions have focused their attention on renewing contracts with Marquinhos and Marco Verratti, who are, at the moment, held in higher regard.
