Paris Saint-Germain kick off the 2019-20 Ligue 1 campaign this weekend as they host Nimes to Parc des Princes on Sunday, but Neymar won’t be there to help his teammates
Omitted for the PSG squad for their Ligue 1 opener due to an alleged training injury, the Brazilian is said to be negotiating his way out of the French capital.
The former Barcelona superstar has already informed the club about his desire to play elsewhere next season, and it seems that the PSG chiefs are working hard to fulfill his will.
Heavily linked with a return to La Liga, with Real Madrid and Barcelona credited with an interest, the 27-year-old is reportedly a subject of advanced talks between PSG and Los Blancos.

Florentino Perez has been trying to land Neymar ever since the forward left the Camp Nou, but it is still unclear whether he can sign him this summer and stay within financial fair-play rules.
Los Merengues have been busy this summer, already spending £300million to reinforce their ranks, and matching the Brazilian’s price tag may see them breach FFP regulations.
Although Neymar’s absence from the PSG team that will face Nimes on Sunday fueled speculations about his departure, the Parisians will hardly renounce his services unless they can recoup £200million they splashed out to bring him to France.
However, with everything that happened to the Brazil international during his two-year spell in Paris, none of the interested clubs is ready to fork out such a substantial amount of money to secure his services.
A potential move to Juventus has also been on the cards, but with Paulo Dybala staying put, such a scenario is unlikely to happen.
