Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the race for AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek, according to reports from England
Harry Kane’s injury has forced Spurs to intervene in the transfer market, and Jose Mourinho has labeled the Poland international Krzysztof Piatek as his top target.
As reported by the British outlet, The Guardian, the north London outfit will taste waters for the 24-year-old this January, with Milan looking to offload their out-of-form star.
In addition to Tottenham, Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United have also shown interest in the former Genoa hitman, but none of the abovementioned clubs is willing to meet Milan’s £30m.

While the Rossoneri hope to recoup a sum they spent to take Piatek away from Genoa last January, the Premier League sides are interested in bringing the Pole forward on loan.
The Milanese giants have deemed Piatek surplus to requirements after a disappointing first half of the season and have already re-signed their former talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic to fill the gap.
However, they are eager to cash in on the former Lechia youth academy product rather than ship him out on loan, which is the main stumbling block at the moment.
Although Tottenham rarely spend high figures on new players, Daniel Levy will have to splash the cash this winter to replace Kane, who will, in all likelihood, remain on the sidelines until March.
