Unai Emery’s career at Arsenal seems to be drawing to a close following another disappointing Premier League result
The Gunners were held to a dismal 2-2 home draw to Southampton on Saturday, stretching their winless streak in the top-flight to five straight games.
After picking up just four triumphs in the opening 13 rounds of the Premier League fixtures, the North Londoners trail fourth-placed Chelsea by eight points.
According to the Daily Express, the club hierarchy will make a final decision on the Spaniard’s future at the Emirates after December’s clash against West Ham United.
Emery’s job is hanging by a thread, and the next three league fixtures will be decisive in determining his position that has been compromised over the past few weeks.
Arsenal will take on Norwich City, Brighton, and West Ham in the forthcoming period and will be odds-on favorites against both the Canaries and the Seagulls.
Each of these matches is deemed winnable by the Gunners board that will probably sack the former Sevilla boss in case his side fail to return all nine points in that sequence.
