Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has laughed off Inter Milan move, insisting he is happy and comfortable at Camp Nou, reports in Spain confirmed
Vidal has emerged as one of Antonio Conte’s prime summer transfer targets, as the Italian hopes to bolster his midfield options at Inter Milan ahead of the new season.
Although many saw the Chilean’s arrival at Camp Nou in 2018 as an awkward one, given the fact that his football qualities don’t suit Barcelona’s ‘tiki-taka’ system, the 33-year-old has been quite impressive.
Indeed, Vidal’s combative spirit and tactical awareness made him one of the instrumental parts of the Blaugrana set-up, as he had racked up 31 outings in all competitions before the coronavirus pandemic gripped football.

Now, the former Bayern Munich man has revealed that he enjoys his life in La Liga, playing down recent speculations surrounding his potential move to Serie A.
“I am very happy and comfortable in Barcelona, of course, I want to continue. Now, I am more prepared than ever,” Vidal said, as relayed by the Spanish publication AS.
“I am happy. There is a good group, and I have great friends in the dressing room.”
With the Spanish top-flight clubs back to training ahead of the season resumption, Vidal is expected to play an important role in Barcelona’s hopes of defending the league title.
Before the pandemic froze the club season, the reigning La Liga holders were two points clear of arch-rivals Real Madrid at the summit.
