Wenger calls PSG to make a move for in-demand Arsenal playmaker

According to the reports from France, the former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has allegedly proposed Paris Saint-Germain to make a move for Aaron Ramsey in January.

The in-demand Gunners midfield is heading towards the Emirates exit door, as his contract with Arsenal is going to run out next summer.

The parties are yet to find an agreement on the renewal, and the departure seems to be the only solution.

Knowing Ramsey’s potential, several major European clubs are closely monitoring the situation, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Juventus, and AC Milan.

After the arrival of Ivan Gazidis, the Rossoneri have emerged as the top candidates to capture the 27-year-old Welshman, but they’ve so far failed to take any concrete steps.

However, during the past few days, reports from Germany suggested Bayern Munich will soon finalize the deal that will see Ramsey switching the Premier League for Bundesliga.

Still, there are no further confirmations regarding these rumors although the Bavarians demonstrated their ability to lure the notable players in the final year of their contract.

Now, it appears that Wenger has urged the reigning Ligue 1 champions to match Ramsey’s £200,000-a-week demands.

According to the famous French manager, the possible arrival of the gifted playmaker can bolster PSG’s midfield department and bring additional quality to Thomas Tuchel’s roster.

The Parisians have to add a new player to the center of the park, considering Adrien Rabiot’s hesitation over the contract extension with the club.
