Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has publicly revealed his admiration for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe
Los Blancos will entertain PSG at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League, and the French tactician will be able to witness his compatriot’s talent at first hand.
Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital during the summer but has eventually remained in Ligue 1 for another season.
However, the 20-year-old could swap Paris for Madrid at the end of the season, especially after Zidane admitted being ‘in love’ with the most talented striker in the world.
“Do you know that I know him for a long time? It is not the first time [I will see him],” the 47-year-old said in the build-up to Real’s clash against PSG, according to Sky Sports.

“I am in love with him. Firstly, as a person, because he came here to do a trial a long time ago.”
The former AS Monaco man has endured a somewhat injury-hit start to the season, but he has still racked up nine goals and four assists in all competitions.
Also, he seems to be the only competent replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabeu after Eden Hazard failed to live up to expectations.
But, Zidane’s men will first have to find a way to handle him on Tuesday, as Real hope to clinch a place in the Champions League knockout stage.
Although Mbappe didn’t feature for the Parisians in the reverse fixture, the Spanish visitors were utterly outclassed at Parc des Princes and will be looking to settle the score now.
